ANTI-MAGNETIC ARCHETYPE #3
"If I stop or slow down, I won't succeed"
Convinced that the only way to succeed is by working longer and harder than anyone else, you use sheer willpower to override your intuition, physical limits, and natural timing. Whether building strategies based on 'shoulds,' working to the point of burnout, or setting stress-inducing deadlines, you struggle to trust that rest and natural rhythms won't derail your success.
...it's likely The PUSHER has a lot of "pull" right now, and is costing in more ways than you may realise.
IF You'RE:
Signs The PUSHER is running the show
MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL
A life that feels heavy. Because it's like you're having to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders... while trudging up a very tall mountain... so tall you can't see the peak. It feels like the only way you're going to achieve anything in life is through sheer willpower, determination and force. Completely on your own (forget about co-creation with the universe!) So discipline, rules and schedules are everything. Which turns everything into an obligation, immediately sucking the joy out of it.
Feeling like life is a never-ending battle
THE COST TO YOUR BEING
When you tie your own sense of value to how much "doing" you do, it can mean you undervalue the aspects of you that make you truly valuable as a leader, and get so caught up in appearing productive, you fall into the trap of busy for the sake of busyness. As a leader, your actions are also modelling what others assume you expect of them too. So your own unhealthy relationship to work could easily be passed on to your team or clients, even if it's unintentional and unspoken.
Showing others you value doing > being
THE COST TO YOUR LEADERSHIP
There are 2 big risks to your brand. The first is that you commit to an unsustainable schedule that could lead to burnout - maybe not physically, but mentally and emotionally, taking the enjoyment out of creating content - and the other is that you try to be EVERYWHERE, spreading yourself thin and never getting to the point of mastering one platform because you're juggling so many plates, therefore meaning you never get to build an audience of ideal people who truly value you for your brilliance.
Never building meaningful momentum
THE COST TO YOUR BRAND
While burnout is an obvious risk, the damage can begin long before that as business starts to feel heavier, like an obligation rather than something you "get" to do. It eats away at your joy, takes away your creative spark, and disconnects you from your heart as you become like a little worker robot. The longer you keep pushing through while feeling this way, the more you're likely to find yourself resenting your clients or dreaming about running away to live a "simpler" life.
Losing your spark & turning it into a J.O.B.

THE PUSHER'S MAGNETIC POTENTIAL
The Pusher's patterns are simply the unhealthy expression of the natural strengths you were born with. And once we become conscious of them, they can be transformed into a higher expression that puts an end to the "self-sabotage" (in quotations because this is actually just a form of self-protection) and becomes a part of your toolkit for success.
THE GIFTS HIDING IN THE SHADOW OF THE PUSHER
You don't need to look far beneath the surface of the over-working and under-resting to see that the gifts of The Pusher are determination, drive and grit. These gifts are essential to anyone wanting to achieve big things in life, and yet you're in a small percentage of people to whom they come naturally - yay! With these gifts, you have what it takes to overcome obstacles, push through discomfort, and take the consistent actions needed to achieve long-term success... IF you can learn to harness them for good before you burn yourself out. When misused, they may not be leading to any meaningful results, but if you can work through the fear and conditioning that keep you feeling like to stop is dangerous and instead choose what, when and where to direct your energy and willpower, you become an unstoppable force.

We fall into the shadow when we're operating from fear and doubt, but it's just the other side of the coin to the strength, which we already have within us. The real magic though? It's in accessing the sacred gift, which we earn with time and through alchemising these shadow patterns.
The outward expression of all you are, this is what most think of as personal branding, as it's about how you choose to position and package yourself in the outside world, from what you wear to how your website is designed.
Harder to measure, but easy for others to sense, this is your energy, your vitality, that spark people feel when you walk into a room (or the dark cloud, depending on your mood). This energy gets poured into all of our interactions AND our creations, so it's essential to your magnetism.
How you're showing up in the world. The actions you're taking (or not) the habits you've adopted (whether they're helpful or not) and the way you express yourself. Our actions can change our reality including how we feel, so it's next in line.
Your belief systems and the stories you hold about everything -- from yourself and your own potential, to other people, to how the world works. Our thoughts manifest as reality, so until our beliefs align with our desires, we'll struggle.
Your literal foundations: who you are, how you were built, the state of your nervous system, and the way you naturally see and experience the world. If we don't understand these things or let them get out of whack, everything else falls apart!
FROM PUSHER TO CADENCED CREATOR
Magnetism isn't some switch you flick on. It's created from 5 different sources that are all essential parts of you. And since one impacts the next, you can think of this as your "Magnetic Hierarchy of Needs". I'll quickly explain what they are before diving into tailored recommendations for each of these areas specific to The Pusher.
To heal the pattern of The PUSHER and step into its highest expression as The CADENCED CREATOR, we must work from the Inside Out.

While this magnetic hierarchy of needs is universal, what's required to break you out of your own patterns and activate your highest potential is unique. Tap on the orange arrows to view your personal magnetism prescription.
Your biggest challenge is going to be about building nervous system capacity and safety to start speaking your truth, saying no, and setting boundaries that honour your needs. Because as long as your body thinks doing that is a threat to your wellbeing, you'll avoid it. This is a slow process, so start small. What's one way you could better enforce a boundary today? It doesn't have to be a conversation -- it could also be making your messaging clearer on your website or contract!)
There may be a deep-seated belief that you're not safe to stop. That it's dangerous to slow down. What belief feels expansive to replace it with? How about "When I rest, I recharge my battery and become even more magnetic"? Or "It's not how much I do that matters: it's doing the right things with intention"? Take some time each day to imagine a life where the more you honoured your body's needs, the more money flowed to you.
The toughest habit for you to break is the one where you push through regardless of how you're feeling. So for now, imagine you've got training wheels on. Set an alarm to remind you to take regular breaks and check in to ask yourself how you're feeling. Maybe give it a scale of 1 - 10 for energy levels. Can you allow yourself to stop work once you hit a certain number? And if you're struggling to do that, ask yourself, "Why do I feel the need to keep going, while ignoring my body's needs?" "Will I be able to produce my best work in this state?
The more you push and work from a place of being exhausted, the less magnetic you'll be. So for the next 30 days, I want you to focus on the quality of energy you're pouring into your work rather than the quantity of work you're putting out there -- particularly if it has to do with creating content, curriculum or anything related to communication.
Create a scale you can measure it by in your diary. I.e. 1-5 stars based on how you feel. Try to raise your average by at least 1 star by the end of the 30 days & watch your work go from solid to unmistakable ;)

Remove the pressure, take a breath and allow yourself to imagine the most joyful way you could approach it if you knew you had all the time you need. Would you work in shorter bursts? Set the project up differently? Get extra creative by adding details you usually have to skip over?
