Big news: The podcast is back.
More accurately, I’M back, with an all new podcast.
It has been a multiple-year journey to get here. After closing the chapter on my previous show, Becoming Magnetic (aka Seen, Heard, Paid and before that, The Personal Branding Project), I stepped into a creative void. I knew my business was evolving and that I had outgrown the masks I used to wear, but I had no idea what was coming next.
It took sitting in that silence—and learning to stop forcing the process—to finally birth this new vision.
Welcome to Mythic Magnetism.
This podcast (along with Mythic Journey which was birthed first!) is a map for the leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives who are ready to bridge the mythical with the mundane. It is for those ready to stop “hunting” for success and start embodying their true potential.

Podcast Inception: The Journey to Get Her
Are you ready to go on an adventure? I, on one hand, know exactly where I am taking you with this podcast because a map already exists. On the other hand? I have no idea where we are going.
That is actually the point.
The journey to launch Mythic Magnetism was a bit like “podcast inception”. I had to live the journey first in order to be ready to share it.
When I shut down my old podcast, I thought I would immediately get to work on the new thing. I thought I would gain clarity, execute a plan, and launch. Instead, I sat in silence. I filled notebook after notebook with ideas. I bought domain names and built websites, only to shut them down immediately.
It was a period of false starts and forcing. Eventually, I had to surrender and admit that I didn’t know what was calling me. It was only when I stopped trying to execute the perfect plan and started following the breadcrumbs that the real vision came through.
What You Can Expect From This Show
This is not the kind of podcast where I am just going to give you more information week after week to try and get you hooked. I am creating this for you if you are standing on a precipice—if you are at a threshold and ready to make a big change.
I want this show to serve as a tool and a guide as you navigate the next chapter of your life.
We are going to be using the framework of the Hero’s Journey—the cycle of leaving home, facing demons, meeting a guide, and returning transformed. I’ll also be weaving in the Gene Keys to help you uncover your unique blueprint of shadows and gifts.
We are going to bridge the mythical with the mundane because when we view life only at the mundane level, it can feel heavy, dull, and like a grind. But when we view it through a mythical lens? We realize we are on a quest.
Why Magnetism is Due for an Upgrade
So, why call it Mythic Magnetism?
I think we all know that the word “magnetism” has become a buzzword. In the coaching and branding space, IMO, we’ve kind of lost the point of it.
We started using magnetism as a strategic tool. We attached it to an agenda: “I want to achieve this specific goal, so I will be magnetic to get it”. We started building brands and businesses based on what was modeled to us by others.
The problem is that our minds work based on what we already believe is possible. No matter how big your dreams are, they are actually quite small compared to the true potential of what is out there.
Mythic Magnetism is different. It is about activating a type of magnetism in your being that allows you to become a magnet for the greater good. It is about attracting things that are bigger than what you can even dream of right now.
It is the difference between white-knuckling your way to a specific job title, versus doing the inner work to attract the role you didn’t even know existed—the one that actually lights you up.
The Trap of the “Hunter” Archetype
When we are stuck in the void, or when we feel like life isn’t giving us what we want, we often default to the archetype of the Hunter.
Think about a hunter on horseback. They have a weapon. They know exactly what they are hunting for. As they ride through the woods, they have blinkers on. They are looking only for the target. They are not there to enjoy the journey.
Because they are filtering out everything that doesn’t look like their target, they miss so much.
I used to be the Hunter. I decided early on that I wanted to be a musical theatre performer. I became fixated on that goal. I achieved it—I landed the life—and then I realized it wasn’t actually what I wanted.
I had gripped that goal so tightly. I was white-knuckling my way to it.
We are taught that we need to hustle, grind, and be specific. But life wants to surprise us.
So, want to know what life has in store?
If you’re currently in a place where you don’t know what you’re doing, or you feel lost and disillusioned—you are actually in the right place.
You don’t need to force your way out of the forest. You don’t need to pick a fixed destination and run at it like a hunter. You just need to learn to love being in the dark for a moment and get familiar with what you truly need.
As we begin this season, I want to leave you with these words from Rebecca Del Rio:
Prescription for the Disillusioned
Come new to this
day. Remove the rigid
overcoat of experience,
the notion of knowing,
the beliefs that cloud
your vision.
Leave behind the stories
of your life. Spit out the
sour taste of unmet expectation.
Let the stale scent of what-ifs
waft back into the swamp
of your useless fears.
Arrive curious, without the armour
of certainty, the plan and planned
results of the life you’ve imagined.
Leave the life that chooses you, new
every breath, every blink of
your astonished eyes.
Thanks for reading (and/or listening!)
